JADEZ - JULIETTE ZELIME

Juliette Zelime aka Jadez is a well-established Seychelloise interdisciplinary artist with over 20 years experience working in the field. 
She has completed her Bachelors Degree in Visual Communications and her Masters in Art and Design in 2010 and 2018 respectively from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China. 

Jadez’s approach to art is; there are no limits. She has a critical mind and navigates her way through her practice with a lot of care and precision to not only the process but also the end product. Being from an island nation she is inspired by her natural surroundings and is interested in exploring the connection it has to science. Jadez likes to have an amalgamation of the old and new, past and future and the real and surreal. She is propelled by her personal curiosity and allows the theme of the work to determine which medium she should use. Being well versed in most fine art practises and digital processes, Jadez likes a challenge and is always finding new ways to build her repertoire. She does not believe an artist ever stops learning.
