PRASLIN CULINARY & ARTS FESTIVAL
The Praslin Culinary and Arts Fiesta happens from 28 July to 30 July and is a platform where artisans, artists, hotels and communities come together to showcase their creativity and talents in a weekend of competition and celebration.
The festival starts July 28 with barman competition at Mabuya Restaurant, Anse Lazio, which will be followed by the official ceremony to take place at Lauriers Eco Hotel, Côte D’Or.
The official launch will be followed by the opening of the arts, craft and photography exhibition at the Berjaya Praslin Beach Hotel Côte D’Or and in the evening starting a soiree tropical elegance, a paid event featuring a fashion show and honouring of artists for past contributions, will take place at Lauriers Eco Hotel.
The festival continues on Saturday July 29 with the start of the family fun fair at Berjaya Praslin Beach field where the locals and foreigners will be able to appreciate talents in terms of top quality products and haute cuisine from the hotels and individuals in various stalls.
The day will also see the start of the preliminary rounds of the sports activities and at the same time at Mabuya Restaurant at Anse Lazio, the final of the culinary competition will begin.
