VENICE BIENNALE

The European Cultural Centre will host for the 5th time the country of Seychelles during the large Art Biennial exhibition "Personal Structures" 2024. Four artists representing Seychelles will be displayed: Juliette Zelime, Danielle Freakley, Jude Ally and Ryan Chetty.
At the Seychelles Biennale of Contemporary Art 2022, Juliette Zelime (AKA Jadeze) won the 'Best Emerging Artist' prize and Ryan Chetty won the Grand Prize. 
The National Pavilion will be co-curated by Karyn Zialor and Martin Kennedy and run from 20 April 2024 until 24 November 2024.

For the first time, Seychelles will have a National Pavilion in Arsenale, one of the official sites of La Biennale di Venezia, as well as in the European Cultural Centre permanent venues in Venice, Italy.
