JAPANESE FILM FESTIVAL
Mr. Tomotaka Ishizu, Secretary for the Embassy of Japan in Seychelles, and Secretary for the Seychelles National Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts, Miss Cecille Kalebi, met during a conference with local media outlets and explained the the 2024 edition of the Japanese Film Festival.
The Japanese Film Festival happens from 31 January until 02 February 2024.
The Japanese Film Festival is being organised by The Embassy of Japan in Seychelles in collaboration with the Japan Foundation, the Seychelles National Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts, and Deepam Cinema.
The Festival is divided into a three-day film festival with a total of three Japanese films which will be screened at Deepam Cinema in Victoria.
1. After the Sunset – 31st January (12) at 6 p.m (General Public)
2. Children of the Sea – 1st February (universal) at 10 a.m – (for invited schools only)
3. Our Sound – 2nd February (PG 13) at 6 p.m (General Public)
Free tickets are available for collection at the Reception of the Seychelles National Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts, at the National Library Building as from 25 January 2024, from 9am until 3pm.
